Safety Courses

Girl Scout First-Aiders
An adult who has taken GSUSA approved first-aid and CPR training and volunteers to provide safety services to a troop is a first-aider.  Your troop must be accompanied by a first-aider every time you submit a Request for Approval of Day or Night Activities (2/07).

A complete list of GSUSA acceptable courses and certifications for Level 1 and Level 2 first-aiders is on page 37 of Safety-Wise.

Safety Course Descriptions
The schedule for Safety Courses can be found in the Adult Development Course Catalog. Please go to the Adult Training page to download it.

For all First Aid and CPR courses, the number of participants is strictly limited.  Spaces fill on a first paid, first served basis.  Registrations will not be processed until payment is received.

Participants are required to complete both written exams and skills test(s) in all courses to receive certification.
