Juliette Low Leadership Society

Members of the Juliette Low Leadership Society are community and business leaders who demonstrate their support for Girl Scouts through contributions of time and money.  The Society serves as a visible advocacy for girls in eastern Oklahoma and supports a variety of programs, including:

  • destinations
  • Juliette Low Leadership Society Scholarships
  • Career Conference
  • Skills for Living Event held at Oklahoma State University
  • Gold and Silver Award Recognition
  • Ropes Challenge Course

Supporters of the Tulsa Juliette Low Leadership Society are community-minded women, men, businesses and foundations. Both individual members and sponsors are invited to attend the annual luncheon held each spring. 

The Tulsa Juliette Low Leadership Society began in 1993. The society raises funds to support high quality, challenging programs and scholarships for girls within Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. The Gold and Silver Awards - The Highest Awards for girls in
Girl Scouting

  • The Gold and Silver Awards symbolize outstanding accomplishments in the areas of leadership, career planning, personal development and community services.
     
     

  • The requirements for the Gold include community service projects, career exploration, various badge work requirements and the planning and implementation of a major project.

destinations - National and International Travel

  • These events are a bridge between the experiences a Girl Scout has locally and the opportunity to be a part of a diverse national and international community of women who are all members of one organization, who gather to learn, have fun, build memories, and test their skills and talents.

Higher Education Scholarships

  • Eight $1000 scholarships are awarded to graduating Girl Scouts who have demonstrated exceptional Girl Scout, academic, and leadership skills.  Funds are provided by the Janet Zink Scholarship Endowment, the Juliette Low Leadership Society and Tulsa Sunrise Rotary Foundation.
